I deviated on this one. The figure in the painting is not Melody Lee.Continuing with the fire, This painting I, as I sometimes do, painted this one in the frame. In fact, the frame inspired me... colors, texture, etc.as I have stated before, the frames are optional.however, when I paint inside the frame, if paint should spill out onto the frame from the painting as I create it, I leave it alone. I feel it bridges the paintings into our world in a special way.
