John Peterson

About

John Peterson's passion as an artist has emerged over a lifetime of developing a God-given talent from early childhood. His love for the outdoors and western history has been the main influence and the primary focus of his work. Peterson's work portrays exciting and action-filled depictions of 19th century western themes, emphasizing the rugged independence of those who lived and traveled through the American west at a time when that area was being settled. In his art, he hopes to preserve, in some small way, the traditions and nostalgia of a period in time that has been replaced by advancing civilization. He often returns to his roots in the art world, depicting God's creatures in wildlife theme paintings as well.
