On a visit to Strawberry Hill Farms owned by Vern Falstrom I saw this wonderful, old manure spreader sitting just off the parking lot and decided I wanted to paint it. I shot several reference photos from different angles, but decided to paint the one that best showed the wheel and the gears. This painting took me over 50 hours to complete, however I think it was worth all of the time.
