Gentle Ascension is part of my latest 'Wing and a Prayer' series of more than 55 original paintings created through introspection, ( memory of sunny bright days on the lake) - in the frigid and gray months, January through April 2017. To 'Lift me up' from the world of dark politics, cold weather, and ecological disasters, I resort to nature. This year waterbirds, songbirds, and all birds are singing to me.
