CONTEMPORARY DIGITAL ARTIST Martyn Cain – HND in Graphic Design, D&AD New Creative, Cert. Sharepoint designer. He is our New Age Artist in Photo design & digital image manipulation. Born in 1983 - Douglas, Isle of Man. Martyn combines photographs of local island scenes and buildings with textures and natural gradients from around the island with his extensive knowledge of digital graphics programmes to create a photo-impressionistic image. He prefers to capture the quirky, beautiful and even the sometimes worn scenes the Island has to offer. Martyn’s influences include Derek Hess, Joseph Loughborough, Neville Brody, Wendy Farrow, Phil Kneen and Adam Jones. It is these influences, mixed with his love of music, comedy and film that help create the dark undertones to his work
