I was born in Spokane Washington and have been an artist in the making since I could pick up a pencil. However, now I don't draw on my desk anymore. I graduated from Eastern Washington University in 1998 with a BA in Education and a minor in Art. Even with my art minor, I ironically did not have a drawing or painting professor that actually taught the basics. He believed in just letting loose on the paper. It wasn't a popular teaching method, and in fact he never taught us anything academic, but it did drive me to figure things out for myself. After years of teaching myself realism with oils, I realized I'd rather paint and sculpt things as they aren't, rather than things as they are. I hope you enjoy my work.
